About Atkinson Science

Atkinson Science is the web site of Keith Atkinson BEng PhD. Keith studied under Professor James Whitelaw FRS at Imperial College, London and has been a scientist for 37 years.

Keith's passion is fluid dynamics and related disciplines such as convection heat transfer and combustion. Keith has a thorough understanding of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) gained through many years of writing CFD code.

He is also passionate about making science accessible to all. He builds highly intuitive Windows and web applications to enable scientists and enthusiasts to explore a particular aspect of applied science.

Keith is keen to share his knowledge and has written a range of theory guides on fluid dynamics and other areas of engineering science that you can download for free on the Downloads page.
